Upcoming public meetings have been announced for the Mid-Altantic Fishery Management Council’s Surfclam and Ocean Quahog Advisory Panel, Pacific Fishery Management Council, North Slope Science Initiative-Science Technical Advisory Panel, and NOAA Office for Coastal Management.

(From The Federal Register)– The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council’s Surfclam and Ocean Quahog Advisory Panel will hold a public meeting on Monday, May 2, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m via Internet Webinar.

The Pacific Fishery Management Council and the NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center will convene a workshop to develop methods for conducting stock assessments of short-lived coastal pelagic species on the U.S. West Coast. The public meeting will be held in La Jolla, CA on Monday, May 2, 2016 through Thursday, May 5, 2016.

The North Slope Science Initiative-Science Technical Advisory Panel meeting will be held May 9-10, 2016, in Barrow, Alaska, with an opportunity for public comment.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office for Coastal Management will hold a public meeting to solicit comments on the performance evaluation of the Oregon Coastal Management Program on May 24, 2016, and written comments must be received on or before June 10, 2016.

The NOAA Office for Coastal Management will hold a public meeting to solicit comments on the performance evaluation of the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve on June 28, 2016, and written comments must be received on or before July 15, 2016. Notice is also hereby given of the availability of the final evaluation findings for Maryland, Puerto Rico and Ohio Coastal Management Programs.
